About Us
Founded in 1872 by ten strong women at Syracuse University, Alpha Phi is now one of the oldest and largest women's fraternities in North America. The Theta Zeta chapter of Alpha Phi is one of over 150 chapters in both the United States and Canada. Alpha Phis are members of a lifelong sisterhood, a woman’s fraternity. Our keystone is friendship–warm, simple and sincere. In Alpha Phi there is encouragement, understanding, and opportunities to grow.
Alpha Phi is one of three National Panhellenic Conference sororities here at Florida Tech. The Theta Zeta chapter is a group of independent women bonded together and committed to friendship, scholarship, and womanhood.

Mission
Alpha Phi is a sisterhood of women supporting one another in lifelong achievement.
"We seek the highest ideal of womanhood, and we try to gain this ideal by cultivating not only the
power and passion for seeking intellectual development but, also, the spirit of love and charity.
And we who are thus united are under a solemn pledge to lend a helping hand to one another."
- Alpha Phi Constitution, Article II
